The Greatest Reward As A Tour Guide
By admin | March 1, 2009
I have been a tourist guide for over five years now. One thing I love about my job is practically get to meet a lot of people from different countries and travel a lot with them. It is the best job ever to be able to speak about a certain place my clients do not familiar about and be an educator all through out their visit.
However, being a tour guide does not only mean simply travel and luxury. It is all about leading a group of people from all walks of life, answering all their questions about anything under the sun, taking care of them while on tour. It is basically about getting along well with them and only focus your entertaining time only on them. Also, as a guide you must also be responsible about the coordination of their flights and flight deals such as giving them ideas on how and where they could get cheap flights as they travel. You must also know to anticipate all sudden emergencies that may occur possibly, to be able not to ruin the tour of your clients.
Nevertheless, being a tourist guide is nothing but a wonderful experience. Despite of all the obligations it entails for the clients, I am enjoying it because of the fact that I get to discover and learn more things from different culture to different languages they speak as well. Being friends with all my clients after every tour guiding, is the greatest reward for my job.
