Raising Your Own Children, And Helping Others Raise Orphans…
By admin | March 31, 2009
I am 10, and yet I have set nothing aside for myself. When the inevitable happens, I shall be caught toothless, incontinent and poor. As a single parent of two teens with a decent income that proudly allows me to support them (If their father gives, great. If he doesn’t, fine), I realized, however, that I have zero knowledge when it comes to to managing my finances for the future. It would mean that I must have perseverance on having income whenever my children needs, to prove to my husband that I can do it on my own.
Thinking back, he just advised me to give the responsibility of being a parent to other people because I can raise them all by myself. In fairness to orphanages, they give real love and care to orphans but I would never sleep at night living my kids without trying to raise them. Now, i have been standing up high, proud of myself that I have made it through all the hardship that I have gone of raising my kids and now I can be assured of their future.
I have been supporting this orphanage that should take care of my kids and I have been supporting all their programs. Specially in searching for some rich people to donate toys for the orphans. Like their program Donate Boat Toy, Toy Car Donations and Free DVDs for Kids. They came so successful and many kids have been happy of their received toys…
